How do I reserve my ride?
The process is simple. Simply give us a call at 800-321-0243 and make your reservation. All we ask is that you call no later than noon (12:00 p.m.) the day before your trip. We will call you the day before your scheduled trip to confirm the details. Trips can be scheduled days, weeks, and even months in advance.

SCM Elderbus provides transportation services to twenty-two communities in central Massachusetts. All residents age sixty and over, as well as residents with disabilities, are eligible for the service. If you are traveling with a Personal Care Attendant (PCA), that individual rides for free. In-town transportation is available Monday - Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Out-of-town medical transportation is provided to each town three days per week, as noted in (parentheses).
Fare
All in-town rides are $1.50. Out-of-town fares are $1.50 plus and additional fare of $0.25 for each additional town traveled to. For example, if you are traveling to the next town over from your residence, the fare would be $1.75; two towns over, the fare would be $2.00, etc. We will pick you up at your home, at the time that you request, and bring you to your requested destination. Personal Care Attendants (PCA) ride for free. Pre-paid fare passes are also available for purchase, and make a wonderful gift for a friend or family member in need of the service. The process is simple, and the service is safe, reliable and affordable. Just give us a call and reserve your trip!
